Hi, I'm Alison Dawn Lee. My Chinese given name is Lay Yee Han (truthful one).
I work with senior leaders who want to lead from a place of higher consciousness. I didn't choose this work, it chose me, and revealed a path I never imagined.
I'm strategic and practical and, most importantly, I see you for who you really are. No judgment. No desire for perfection. Just a vast field of unconditional love where your highest self emerges from the stillness.
My Story
I work with leaders who have a soul purpose to bring higher consciousness into the world through their organizations, companies, communities, and even families.
And why I'm here to do that is because it's my story. I came from a place of pain and separation to this place of knowing how to lead and live my life from who I really am. An instrument of something much bigger and more vast than what our minds alone are designed to hold, drawing from a pool of eternal knowledge.
I'm here to do that with a new movement of senior leaders who are here, at this specific time, to usher in a new way of being. You will find a spontaneous arising of your true self - unique in its expression and profound in its depth.
After 2 decades of working with senior leaders and discovering what impact a deep, exploratory approach can have, I am offering a new approach to Executive Coaching for anyone who is ready to do the work - wherever you are in your journey.
My Personal Experience Shapes How I Work With Clients
Finding Essential Strength.
When I was a baby, my mom had severe postpartum depression, and I was sent away to be cared for by someone else. A deep sense of abandonment occurred and I started living out my life to please others. I had to rediscover my Essential Strength to find the courage and clarity to live from my authentic self.
In or work together, we don't just identify your strengths but we locate your Essential Strength, the quality innate in you that is here, ready to be expressed. It gives you the courage to be yourself, express your boundaries, ask for what you want and disengage from your inner critic.
Finding Connection to Love.
In my mid-30s, searching for ways to free my soul, I went to my first enlightenment intensive. For days, I explored the esoteric question of “Who am I? Who am I really?” I had a direct experience of love - a love so boundless that it took my breath away.
I can help you reconnect to an unconditional love for yourself which eliminates any sense of separation. You begin to embrace all parts of you - especially the parts you’ve rejected. By doing so, you’re able to lead from a place of wholeness, courage, compassion and love.
Finding Freedom from Your Inner Critic.
In another enlightenment intensive I discovered my strength - an undaunted, unshakeable life force that quiets my unforgiving inner critic and transcends psychological limitations where therapy stopped short.
In our work together, you will be able to meet your inner critic with the strength to simply see it for what it is. You will come into an honest relationship with what is real. Your intuition comes back online. You trust what your body has always known before your critic took over. You can stop performing leadership and be something entirely different, entirely you.
How I Work
This is soul work.
My work holds you compassionately, inquiring into your immediate experience. Anything that arises is a doorway into uncovering your limited self-images and/or into your true nature. I help you inquire into and embrace all your experiences in the moment with equanimity and a beginner’s mind.
This is body work.
The body never lies. I guide you to explore your present experience with courage and curiosity. False identities are held as contractions in the body, and intellectual understanding alone can’t free you. By feeling into the body, we uncover how the ego uses it to store unprocessed emotions.
This is ego work.
I understand how the ego develops and how our early childhood holding environment contributes to losing connection with who we really are and creates false identities. While that understanding assists you, it isn’t enough to become free of the impact of your ego.
This is spirit work.
Your true self is here waiting for your discovery. As we move through outdated self-images, we open the door for the spiritual to intervene. These transcendent, body-felt experiences are revelatory and not manufactured by the mind. With each experience, we discover and reclaim more and more of our true self.
I knew I wasn’t reaching my full potential and also knew I was on the cusp of a big transformation – but I didn’t know how to get there. Alison saw me for who I am and it helped me grow as a leader in a way I never imagined possible.
